Burlington Board Gamers 2 days, 19 hours agoI did open Frag last night. It was indeed a wreck. Got the cards sorted at least, before a couple rounds of Dominion: Intrigue.

Burlington Board Gamers 3 days, 17 hours agoI’ve toted Frag to game night for four or more weeks in a row without even opening it, mostly because I think everything’s a wreck from Carnage. Maybe tonight that will change.

Upper Valley Gamers 3 days, 20 hours agoEvery Wednesday night there is open board gaming at Triple Play in West Lebanon NH. People start arriving between 5:45 and 6:00pm. Games start when they get enough players…. and the gaming ends between 10-11pm. If […]

Green Mountain Gamers 3 days, 22 hours agoI was thinking more along the lines of what Tyler said – I think it probably has more to do with accessibility of people, rather than accessibility of games.
Speaking for myself for a moment, I am perfectly “at […]

We should aim to get started at 6 promptly. I’ll try to get there a bit earlier than that to get all set up.
Everyone else: anything particular you’re looking to play this week or in the near future?

I just picked up the expansion to the recent Civilization Board Game and I’d like to take it for a spin. By all accounts, it makes the […]

ROLE Playing 4 days, 17 hours agoi think 5E boards will be full of mostly 4E adopters, so the end product may still be looked down upon by the people that fled to paizo. personally i love where paizo took 3.5 and it would be hard to convince me […]

Green Mountain Gamers 4 days, 18 hours agoI would politely disagree with you Gordon. I would not be interested in boardgames at all if not for those family times we would all gather around and play Aggravation and similar games. Maybe i would think […]

Hi Tyler,
I was wondering if someone would comment on this. I’m a rpg player/gm thats looking to connect to others in the area.-
What type of RPG are you looking to play? Any other details too, like, perhaps, what type of schedule are you looking for (weekly, monthly) etc… Burlington does have quite a lot of gamers in the area. There may already be an RPG group that would like to have another player. Tyler, do you know of any?

The only going game I know right now is the Burlington Pathfinder Society.

i’ve had hands on experience with 3.5, PRPG, 4th ed (never again..) and BESM. additionally, I’ve spent major 1on1 book time with GURPS. Besides 4th ed i have gm experience. thursdays or fridays would be the best bet for me. My wife and I have hosted before and it sounds like we are close to running some type of pathfinder on fridays

i’ve been meaning to go some night but when i’m available it happens to fall on the wrong week and now i have a class right in the same timeslot. PFS is what we play at carnage and such.

Scheduling is a ticker for sure.
They don’t rigidly keep to the every other Wednesday schedule, sometimes meeting in the off week, so you may find it works for you at some point in the future.

Hello, welcome to the site! What brings you by?
My wife has recomended it for some time as well as tuesday night games downtown. I thought I would finally try it. Found you on Facebook first and that pointed me here. My wife cringes at the thought of playing axis and allies so she pointed me this way. Just looking for more people who would play a game that lasts more than an hour.
I hope you can make it to Tuesday night soon, then. There’s always something good to play, often lasting far more than an hour.
