So, in a continued attempt to get better stability out of this site (the continued attack on all WordPress based websites continues unabated), I’ve set up on CloudFlare. This essentially caches GreenMountainGamers.com in the cloud, lowering the bandwidth and server load, and probably cutting down on some of the attack volume. I’m interested in…[Read more]

Hi everyone. Thanks for running such a good gameday. I met quite a few neat people and had a lot of fun. Somehow I got about 6 hours of video to edit into a cohesive structure. It’s funny how an exciting game is really boring when looked at through the eye of a camera. A few people sitting around, a dice throw, then a few people sitting…[Read more]

Welcome to Green Mountain Gamers! Hopefully you can find some other folks near you who will teach you the cool tabletop games. There are gamers down near you (many have posted asking about local gaming groups) but, oddly, there isn’t a local group near you.
There will be two events in November that will be near you. The first will be Carnage,…[Read more]
Hi Bethany,
Other than Carnage which is close to me, i can’t really travel anywhere, i don’t have a car (i have to borrow my parents. stupid college loans) and i’m not really a carpool with strangers kind of person. I’m just holding out for something to happen in the Rutland area because then i’d actually be able to go. I am going to try…[Read more]
You could start a gaming group in your area. The tough part is finding a free public venue but a local library or town hall may offer a free place especially if the event is free and open to the public. There are gamers down near you. I have a lot of family health issues going on at the moment and with the lack of work i have to focus on other things. However Carnage is far enough away where things might flip around and i can attend, and if rutland gets a gaming group in the…[Read more]
