Winter Weirdness

The Green Mountain Gamers come to the city of Barre in January 2014. Get out of the house — or take a break from the ski slopes — and get to the winter Green Mountain Game Day for some tabletop action! Bring any tabletop game you wish to play – board games, RPG’s, Magic – it’s all good. We provide the tables, you provide the games.

Raffle to Benefit the Vermont Center for Independent Living (VCIL)

GMG will hold a raffle to help raise money for VCIL.

Anyone who shows up can receive one raffle ticket.
If you want to increase your chances of winning the raffle, you can buy raffle tickets for $1 each or 6 tickets for $5.

A portion of proceeds from the door donations plus raffle ticket sales will be donated to VCIL.

GMG will donate (2) $25 gift certificates for two prizes. Each winner will receive a gift certificate to their choice of local game store – Book Garden, Brap’s, Quarterstaff, Black Moon Games, Triple Play Games.

In addition, Black Moon Games of Lebanon, NH donated King of New York and 2 copies of Ogre Pocket Edition to the raffle.

The raffle prize drawing will take place around 4pm.

Vendor

The Book Garden will be vending at this year’s Winter Weirdness selling various gaming items. If you wish the Book Garden to bring something specific, please be sure to let them know.

Parking at the church-
There are 4 parking spaces, one of which is handicapped behind the church.  Parking in front of the dumpster space is OK.  Next door is the Barre Granite Association, you can use their spaces. There are about 6 if you park carefully & are inventive.  On the Washington St., on the side of the park there are also parking spaces.
