Winter Weirdness

The Green Mountain Gamers come to the city of Barre each January. Get out of the house — or take a break from the ski slopes — and get to the winter Green Mountain Game Day for some tabletop action! Bring any tabletop game you wish to play – board games, RPG’s, Magic – it’s all good. We provide the tables, you provide the games.

Date: January 9, 2016 – 10am to 10pm
Location: Church of the Good Shepherd, 39 Washington Street, Barre, VT .
Suggested Donation: no admission charge. Suggested $5 donation

Raffle/ Door Prize

GMG will be raising money for the Good Samaritan Haven, central VT’s only homeless shelter, providing housing and services for homeless people – http://www.goodsamaritanhaven.org/Home.html

Half of all donations from the door and half of all raffle tickets sold will benefit the Good Samaritan Haven.

Everyone who attends gets one FREE ticket. Additional door prize/raffle tickets can be purchased for $1 each or six tickets for $5.

Prizes! (more possibly to come!)
– (2) $25 gift certificates to a local game store – two winners – each winner chooses which VT/NH game store s/he would like the gift certificate for – donated by Green Mountain Gamers
– A copy of the game, Lanterns – donated by Black Moon Games

Parking at the church-
There are 4 parking spaces, one of which is handicapped behind the church.  Parking in front of the dumpster space is OK.  Next door is the Barre Granite Association, you can use their spaces. There are about 6 if you park carefully & are inventive.  On the Washington St., on the side of the park there are also parking spaces.
