Winter Weirdness

The Green Mountain Gamers come to the city of Barre in January 2014. Get out of the house — or take a break from the ski slopes — and get to the winter Green Mountain Game Day for some tabletop action! Bring any tabletop game you wish to play – board games, RPG’s, Magic – it’s all good. We provide the tables, you provide the games.

The Book Garden will be on site offering a variety of games and gaming items for sale.

WinterWeirdness2014Food Shelf Donations and Raffle to Benefit the Barre Area Food Shelf

GMG will hold a raffle to help raise money and food donations for the Barre area food shelf. You can get raffle tickets in one of two ways:

  • buy raffle tickets – $1 for one or 6 for $5
  • donate non-perishable food to get a ticket(s) – for every one non-perishable food item, get one ticket. Bring 1 item, get one ticket. bring 2 items get 2 tickets, bring 3 – you get the picture.

2 Raffle prizes – 2 winner’s will each win a $25 gift certificate to the winner’s choice of a gift certificate to either The Book Garden (Montpelier), Quaterstaff (Burlington), Brap’s Magic (Burlington) or Triple Play Games (W. Lebanon, NH).

All money raised from the raffle and one half the donations from the door will be donated to the Barre area food shelf.

Parking at the church-
There are 4 parking spaces, one of which is handicapped behind the church.  Parking in front of the dumpster space is OK.  Next door is the Barre Granite Association, you can use their spaces. There are about 6 if you park carefully & are inventive.  On the Washington St., on the side of the park there are also parking spaces.
