uhhh, How bout we start with When is it? or maybe more appropriately “Who forgot what year it is?”
    “When and Where

    Date and Time: April 21st, 2011, 10:00am to 10:00pm.”

You’re absolutely right. That is the number one concern. Commence fueling Mr. Fusion.

Thumbs up on the switch to Lyndonville. Middlebury is fine but I don’t think we could have gotten away with the same library location again if our attendance keeps growing.

It was Lyndon’s turn in the rotation. Middlebury area is up for the Game n’ Grill this year! I am hoping for some new games in time for Lyndon…. :)

And yes, we are having that very conversation about going back to the library or elsewhere in the Middlebury area.

So I am going to change my routine this Spring. No Game of Thrones…(ouch that hurt just writing it!) And no BSG…(Sorry I know that hurt Carlo)

I would like to get a game of Belfort going in the morning and hopefully a game of 1812: Invasion of Canada in the afternoon. Belfort is a worker placement/area control euro game. I played it at Unity and really enjoyed it.
1812 is a Wargame, but not a heavy one. It is played in teams as well. There are the British regulars , Canadian militia and the Native Americans on one side and the American regulars and militia on the other. I have not had a chance to play yet…but I will before the Meltdown! More info here on BGG:

So if you are interested in one or the other….let me know!

And no Power Grid with the special map that you’ve never played Rod? ;)

I should have received it before Spring Meltdown

And yes, BSG will be represented there… mandatory!

Rod – please count me in for 1812. Sounds like it would be a good introductory wargame for me and goes well with my wish to get back into wargaming.

Excellent Bill. I was reading over the rules last night…should be fun.

Carlo you tempt me with a Power Grid map I have never played….I should have time for at least three games…right?

You know you could help us Invade Canada Carlo? Or rally to it’s defense?

1812 sounds interesting – like Bill I’ve been getting interested in checking out some wargames of late.

I’d be interested in trying 1812. What self-respecting Canadian wouldn’t want a chance to burn Washington down a second time. ;) And yes, I am aware that much of the lower 48 isn’t included, pre-empting my desire to right the wrongs of the Battle of New Orleans. :)

Richard can hold Canada alone… so count me in as well since it plays with 5 people

I don’t know the game and i’ll move on to propose that me & Richard play team Canada… it’s our birth privilege afterall :)

I can confirm now that i should have the Power grid map i spoke about… just decided it was time to get it and the German contact sells it cheaper that the few who has is in USA

It’ll will feel strange not playing who know… but sometimes getting out of the usual is nice as long as it’s done with nice gaming friends :)

Ok enough for now ;) … Richard & I are ready to hold Canada
