So it sounds like a game of Space Empires is on tap. With three seats filled and holding one for @homer Bob I just read up on Heart and Minds . I really liked King Phillips war and John Poinske is the designer. So I would be willing to give it a try after Space [...]

Chuck, Rod or Homer (or anyone else who might be interested): since I figure I can probably get through one other something during the day would anyone be interested in giving Hearts and Minds a shot. I’ve set it up and gone through a couple turns but I’d really like to play through it some [...]

So we should pick one to play. I am good with either Space Empires: 4X or Successors.
@mosdal and @homer what do you guys think? I also would not mind a two player game in addition to the multi-player.

Bob Mosdal @mosdal posted the idea of playing some wargames at the upcoming Green Mountain Game day, Fall-loha. @homer and @chuckdavis are both interested. As am I. We have discussed Successors, Space Empires, and various 2 player games (Victory Lost, Victory Denied, Washington’s War, Wilderness War, King Phillips War etc….) If anyone is…[Read more]

Hi all, I have not played ASL Starter Kit. I’m a hopelessly addicted ASL player, but I have a couple of the Starter Kits games and I like the idea of the simplified system. I’d be happy to play a starter kit scenario or two with Bill or anyone else who is up for a [...]

Finally had time over the holidays to go through the rules from my copy of ASL Starter Kit #1 and got to the point where I understand things well enough to make it all the way through Scenario 1 (playing solo, of course). Figure I’m about ready to try a real opponent. Anyone planning on [...]
