I played a few Avalon Hill strategy games as a kid, and then dropped them when computer gaming took off. Came back to board games ten years ago with Advanced Squad Leader (ASL) and a few others and haven't looked back. Now I game with my kids almost every day, and play ASL frequently.
Our annual summer outing, the Game 'n Grill brings two great things -- meat and games -- together in a fiery conflagration. The Game 'n Grill is a grand gaming picnic. Everyone brings their favorite games and picnic supplies. The year, we're going to have Sausages provided by the North County German Exchange to help fund their trip to Germany. At the Newport National Guard Armory, June 15, 2013 from 10AM to 10PM.
