DESCRIPTION:Mega Spring Meltdown 2020 is Canceled\nIt’s with great disappointment that we are forced to announce the cancellation of Mega Spring Meltdown this year because of the COVID-19 outbreak. The health of our community is most important and we feel that we have a duty to do what we can to protect the vulnerable in our extended gaming family. We will be refunding all preregistration fees. If you have reservations for accommodations you should cancel them. The Green Mountain Gamers have planned for the eventuality that we might have to cancel this event (since Winter can go through April here in Vermont and blizzards happen)\, and so we have the resources to hold our seasonal game days (circumstances permitting) for the foreseeable future. We already have space reserved for Mega Spring Meltdown 2021\, and we hope to see you there! \n	\n  \n\nAs the snow melts\, so do the gamers rouse from their winter hibernation. Break out the meeples and percentile dice. It’s time for the MEGA springtime Green Mountain Gaming Weekend at Lake Morey Resort: That’s right\, the former home of Carnage! \nLOCATION: Terrace Ballroom\, Lake Morey Resort\, 1 Clubhouse Road\, Fairlee VT – hotel rooms available for overnight stays. Call the Lake Morey Resort at call 1-800-423-1211 or 802-333-4311 and reserve a room with the Green Mountain Gamers blocks.\nRoom rates: Saturday – $109\, Sunday – $125 (single); $139 (double) (Sunday includes breakfast.) Reservations need to be made on or before February 27 2020 \nThe door admission fees are: \nWeekend: $30\nSaturday: $20\nSunday: $15 \nChildren 12 and under are admitted free\, but always have to be accompanied in the game space. Select a family pass during pre-registration to save big on bringing your partner and up to 5 children 21 and under (pre-registration only). All passes include a 1 year membership to Green Mountain Gamers!\n\nGame Etiquette:\nWhen you play someone else’s game\, observe the following 6 rules.\n\nPlease return a game to the same spot where you got it.\nPlease keep food and drink away from the games. Open drink containers are not allowed on the game tables.\nParents or guardians – please do not allow your young children (13 and under) to handle the game without adult supervision.\nHandle each game with care (i.e. shuffle cards with care\, don’t force box top closed/open etc…)\nIf an accident happens with a game\, please find a GMG board member and the owner of the game\, let the owner know what happened\, and work out a solution.\nWhen putting a game away\, please scan your play area for any dropped game pieces.\n\n\nGreen Mountain Gamers Annual Meeting:\nSunday Morning 9:00 AM – Card Room\n\nThis is our annual board meeting open to all.
